Tuesday, July 28 – Daily Update

Our French adventure begins with a walking culinary tour of Lyon. Please check out and drop off your luggage at the front desk prior to meeting in the hotel lobby at 9:20 am. After returning from the tour, retrieve your luggage and meet in the lobby at 12:45 pm for our transfer to the Avalon Poetry II.

Tonight we continue the celebration with dinner at the Panoramic Dining Room at 7 pm. It will be an evening of great wine, delicious food, and unforgettable memories! Attire is Smart Casual; long trousers are required for men in the Dining Room.

Reminders for Wednesday, July 29:

• Start your morning at your own pace with breakfast at the Panorama Dining Room. Room service is also available.
• The ship will be docked in Tournus. If you wish to sign up for an excursion and have not done so already, connect with the cruise director.
• The Panorama Lounge will host an optional afternoon tea at 4 pm, happy hour at 6 pm, and live entertainment at 9 pm.
• Dinner is at your leisure. The Panorama Dining Room is open from 7-9 pm. Less formal options are available from the Panorama Bistro or through room service.
